1. We want freedom from state violence and oppression, regardless of our race, sex, gender, ethnicity, or immigration status.

2. We want housing and dignified living conditions without fear of displacement.

3. We want an environment free from pollution that provides clean air and water, nutritious food and the ability to grow our own.

4. We want universal, high-quality childcare, healthcare, and public education.

5. We want a living wage, respectable working conditions, and a democratic workplace.

6. We want an accessible city that accommodates all forms of mobility, provides robust public transit, and prioritizes pedestrian safety.

7. We want community control over our shared resources to ensure they are being directed to meet our needs and reflect our values.

8. We want services, activities, and technologies that promote our physical, mental, and social wellbeing.

9. We want vibrant neighborhoods, public and open spaces, and events that celebrate our cultural diversity.

10. We have a right to joy, community, and to continue resisting until our needs are met.

To achieve these goals, we must learn from past movements to overcome all forms of oppression. We understand that intertwined systems of oppression are used to divide and exploit the working class and destroy the planet in order to enrich a small few. We believe that collective struggle is the key to dismantling these systems and building alternatives in Hayward and across the world. We keep us safe.
